For sixteen years, the Wake Forest Department of Education hosted the Emerging Teacher Leaders Network (ETLN) Conference, which invited alumni to return to Wake Forest University once a year for its annual conference.
Beginning in the 2019-2020 school year, the department will transition from ETLN to the Wake Education Network, which will serve to support and connect Wake Forest students and alumni through professional development, collaborative opportunities, and networking.
This year’s annual alumni gathering will take place as part of edCamp336, a morning of professional learning hosted by the Department of Education in collaboration with Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools. edCamp336 is open to all local teachers as well as Wake Forest students and alumni. This “unconference” will take place on the morning of March 28 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
A lunch for all Wake Forest Department of Education students, alumni, faculty, and staff will immediately follow edCamp336.
