Alumni Guy Hill Honored

Congrats to Guy Hill (’96, MAEd) on being honored at the 2020 NC Black History Month Celebration as a pioneering educator who has made groundbreaking contributions to our state. The event was held at the North Carolina Executive Mansion on February 11. Guy is currently an English teacher at Triton High School in Harnett County.

Congratulations to Professor Emeritus Mary Lynn Redmond, who was honored with the 2019 Southern Conference on Language Teaching (SCOLT) Founders Award. The award is presented to a member who has made significant contributions to SCOLT throughout a number of years and who exemplifies the spirit and ideals of the founders of the organization.
