Clinical Associate and Part-Time Lecturer


Jon Williams holds a BA in History from Wake Forest University (‘95), an MS in History (Secondary Education) from North Carolina A&T State University (‘07), and a Post-Master’s Certificate for School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (‘14). Williams recently just retired from North Carolina Public Schools after 28 years of service. Williams taught high school Social Studies for close to 20 years and served as a school administrator for over 8 years. He held positions as Assistant Principal both at the middle school and high school level, and he served as the Principal of Dalton L. McMichael High School (Mayodan, NC), Booker T. Washington Learning Academy (Reidsville), and also at Mineral Springs Middle School (Winston-Salem). Williams was the final secondary school recipient of the prestigious WFU Marcellus Waddill Excellence in Teaching Award in 2012. Williams is excited to work at his alma mater in the Education Department.
