Kathryn Pegram is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Education. Kathryn holds a Wake Forest undergraduate degree in Mathematics with a double minor in Secondary Education and Political Science as well as a Masters degree in Education Policy and Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Kathryn has spent her career working in K-12 public charter schools as a mathematics teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal, and now Director of Strategic Impact and 5-8 Academics. Her experience includes founding a middle school, curriculum design, teacher coaching and development, and school leader professional development. She is passionate about researching solutions to close the opportunity gap in American schools and in training excellent teachers and school leaders to be an integral part of that solution.
