Haile Espín

Haile Espín is a freshman at Wake Forest University from Greensboro, NC. As the daughter of Mexican immigrants and as a first-generation college student, she is passionate about educational equity and social justice. Haile was selected as a Bank of America Student Leader in 2023 and has been published in Blue Marble Review, Valiant Scribe, HeartWood, and elsewhere. Her favorite book as a kid was The Tale of Despereaux.
