Winston-Salem Teach

Thanks to the U.S. Department of Education and two generous awards from local foundations, Winston-Salem TEACH, a partner of the Wake Forest Department of Education, has announced that next year’s resident stipend has increased from $30,000 to $43,300, including $4,500 of tuition stipend support. Winston-Salem TEACH is dedicated to ensuring that residents who are committed to teaching in high-need Winston-Salem schools can focus on the work of becoming an exceptional teacher without unnecessary financial stress.
