Congratulations to Beckie Bray Rankin (MAEd, ’10), who received the Nelson Brooks Award for Excellence in the Teaching of Culture at the 2023 American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Annual Convention. This award recognizes a language educator who has made significant impact through the teaching of culture in the world language classroom and beyond. Beckie is a French teacher at Lexington High School (MA) and is pictured here with her WFU mentor and advisor, Dr. Mary Lynn Redmond.
