The Department of Education is pleased to announce three new faculty members joining the Department this year.
Dr. Sarah Fick joins the faculty as the new Science content area specialist. Dr. Fick graduated from the University of Michigan and will teach Secondary and Elementary Science Methods.
Dr. Emma Thacker joins the faculty as a Teacher-Scholar Postdoctoral Fellow and will teach Elementary Social Studies Methods and Secondary Social Studies Professional Development Seminars. Dr. Thacker graduated from the University of Kentucky.
Adam Dovico (BA, 2004) joins the faculty as a Clinical Visiting Instructor. Mr. Dovico will teach Field Experience courses and supervise student teachers. Mr. Dovico is a National Board Certified Teacher and received a Master’s in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University.
